Abstract (EN)

Indoles formed by fusion of benzene and pyrrole rings; are compounds found in nature, whose synthetic derivatives exhibit a wide variety of biological activities and can be modified. The 7-azaindoles, the bioisosters of indoles, are formed by the fusion of pyrrole and pyridine rings, and synthetic derivatives show various biological activities. They are very active against electrophilic aromatic substitution reactions. Oxadiazoles, a five-ring furan derivative frequently encountered in patents and literature, remain an indispensable product in the fields of synthesis, medicine, and material chemistry. Because of their metabolic profile structure and their tendency to hydrogen bonding, they are also of interest to synthetic organic chemists. Oxadiazoles can be synthesized by various methods and the oxidation of imino acetyl hydrazines formed as a result of schiff base reaction is one of the most widely used methods. Within the scope of this thesis; the synthesis of modified 2,3-diphenyl and 3-phenyl indoles containing methoxy groups at C4 and C6 positions followed by formulation and then preparation of 2,3-diphenyl and 3-phenyl indole based oxadiazoles with formulation of 7-azaindole follwed by synthesis of 7-azaindole-based oxadiazoles was targeted. Structures of compounds not previously synthesized was illuminated by melting point, infrared spectroscopy, 1H-NMR ve 13C-NMR spectroscopy, and HRMS spectrometer techniques
