Abstract (EN)
As the value given to individuals in business life increases, the awareness about individual focused work environments has also started to spread. Instead of the structure where managers are the only decision mechanism, the working environments that listen to the employees' voices have gained importance. These developments also create an area where employees can make positive contributions and be creative at work. The purpose of this study is to assess the relationship between "workplace democracy" and "creativity". The findings are expected to guide the managers in particular about the democratic workplaces' impact on employees' creativity. This study is primarily an explanatory and hypothesis test for whether there is a meaningful relationship between workplace democracy and creativity. The quality of the research design is quantitative and cross-sectional. Data was collected from 175 employees of various private sector organizations in Turkey. According to the results; it has become clear that in enterprises with a democratic work environment, employees are highly creative individuals and are more likely to use their creativity in their work. Key words: workplace democracy, democracy, creativity, creative thinking, employees' creativity
