The syntax comparision of simple tenses in English, Kurdish and Turkish

The main tool that people have been using since their existence is language. The language used for communication can be verbal, written or body language. There are many theories on how languages evolved. Language starts in the family and society we were born, is shaped by differences or diversities within our live because it is a concept that exists in individual and community development. In this study, after the concept of language, the birth of language, the concept of mother tongue and the relationship between language and culture had been explored primarily; the origins and the structures of languages were investigated. This study was conducted by Turkish language in the Altai branch of the Ural-Altaic language group in the Asian languages, Kurdish language being in the group of Indo-Iranian languages and spoken in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey, and English language being in the Germanic languages of the European group. Although each of these languages has different dialects and accents, the languages have been studied in general. As the study is based on Kurdish, Turkish and English languages; the birth, a brief history and development of these languages on the earth have been examined. Also the areas where these languages are spoken, the main significant elements and artifacts of the languages have been investigated briefly.In the study, firstly a short history of Kurdish, Turkish and English languages had been examined, and then the syntax cases of these languages' tenses were investigated. Four simple tenses which are simple present, simple present continuous, simple past and future tense were firstly investigated individually. Then, these all tenses were compared with each other in the study. As a result of the comparison, the syntax cases of languages were found. It was founded that these languages showed both similarities and differences in terms of syntax cases. Keywords Kurdish, English, Turkish, Syntax, Similarities, Differences
