Özet (EN)
The quality of life of people who have had a stroke is adversely affected due to many reasons. This negativity is also a public health problem. In this study, kinesiophobia in stroke patients; It was planned to determine the effect on depression, anxiety, pain and quality of life and to examine the results in the presence of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) findings. Sociodemographic data were recorded. The Tampa Kinesophobia Scale (TKS) used to assess kinesophobia, the VAS (visual analog scale) to assess pain, the Beck Anxiety Scale (BAS) and Beck Depression Scale (BDS) for emotional status, and the Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scale (SSQOL) to evaluate the quality of life. MRI findings of the patients evaluated volumetrically with the application of Volbrain. From the data obtained with the Volbrain report, corpus amygdaloideum and hippocampus volumes were included in the study. Twenty-six stroke patients with a score of 2 or less on the Modified Rankin Scale (MRS) were included in the study. The mean kinesiophobia scores of the evaluated patients were found to be 43,880 ± 7,804. Kinesiophobia values; pain, anxiety, depression and quality of life values were found to be statistically significant (P<0.05). The correlation between corpus amygdaloideum volume and hippocampus volume and these variables was not statistically significant (p>0.05). In conclusion, there are many factors that affect the quality of life in stroke patients. Among these factors, kinesiophobia is a parameter that must be evaluated. In order to examine the corpus amygdaloideum volume and other variables, there is a need for studies that include MRI results with lower slice thickness and the control group.
