Özet (EN)
With the increasing population, it has become popular to utilize inorganic solid wastes in different sectors. In this study, the effects of inorganic solid waste type, additive amount, grain size and form size on Egyptian paste production were investigated at 950℃ and 1050℃ temperatures. White juice bottle, blue soda bottle, green soda bottle, car glass, brown beer bottle and green wine bottle glass powders from glass packaging wastes with grain sizes of 0.5mm, 1mm and 4mm after crushing-grinding- sieving processes were added to the Egyptian paste recipes prepared at a ratio of 40%-55% by weight. In addition, iron, brass, aluminum and key powder from metal wastes were added 5% by weight to the Egyptian paste recipes. From inorganic solid wastes, 6 samples of Egyptian paste with glass waste and metal waste additives 950℃ that showed the best melting and kept the given shape were selected and examined in terms of microstructural properties by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and microchemical properties by Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectrophotometry (EDS). Flowering method was used in Egyptian paste applications. Gypsum and silicone molds and freehand shaping methods were used to shape the waste-added Egyptian paste. Different glass packaging wastes and metal powders used in this study were found to be suitable for Egyptian paste production in 950℃ and forms above 5 cm were produced.
