The effects of the training and development activities of the Ministry of National Education on the success levels of instructor in terms of human resources management

The research aimed to examine the effects of the education and development activities of the Ministry of National Education on the success levels of educators in terms of human resources management. For this purpose, Trabzon / Ortahisar district was chosen as the application area. The sample of this study, which was designed in accordance with the qualitative research pattern; 327 volunteer participants, consisting of administrators and teachers representing 6 different occupational groups, working as school principal, assistant principal, information technology teacher, guidance teacher / psychological counselor, classroom teacher and religious culture ethics teacher. Data were obtained by conducting a survey in a total of 73 institutions, including 25 official secondary education institutions / high schools, 26 official secondary schools, and 22 official primary schools in the Ortahisar district. In the study, the data obtained from the participants were interpreted by subjecting the frequency analysis and calculating the percentage values of the relevant data. In the research, the distribution of the types of in-service training that teachers and administrators participated in, the types of awards they received, the achievements and/or awards obtained and the contribution levels of participating in in-service activities to the professional / career development of administrators and teachers were examined. In the findings section of the study, in-service training, which is in the top 10 and the most frequent among the in-service training attended by both administrators and teachers, is included. According to the findings obtained from this study; It has been seen that the effect of training and development activities on the success levels of administrators and teachers is positive and at a high level.
