Psychological extensions of selection and placement in human resources management and effects to the organizational commitment

This study emphasizes the importance of selection and placement of the right person to the right job for the continuity of organizations. It has also been pointed out that the right person selection for the right job should not be limited to only education, experience and skills, and that human resource managers should also study the personality typologies of candidates to reach the right result. Organizations have to think and maintain their own continuity. For this reason, it is outlined in the study that it is important for organizational managers not to forget that each selected staff will determine the fate of the organization, to keep the importance of choosing the right human resource in this direction and to keep the staff that are included in the organization for organizational commitment. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the concept of personality and staff psychology are the most fundamental factors affecting organizational commitment. The study was conducted with the aim of providing benefits to the human resources managers, to those who want to advance in the human resources field, to the students who study in the related departments and to newly graduated young people in their business life.
