Education in an interactive medium (e-learning) and its evaluation

11 ABSTRACT In this study, opinions of university students about interactive education system of typography course and subjects in this course were directly taken. At first, universities that put interactive education into practice were determined and then using these universities a sample space have been formed. This study restricted by only these universities. Other universities in Turkey that carry out interactive education are not included in this study because of contact difficulties, limited time and research cost. In the practical part of this study, sample space of university students that study in fine arts was formed. More than 100 students that were randomly choosen from the sample space were taken a poll on the internet. Theoritically, results of the study can be generalized. In data analysis, percentages and averages of each question of questionnaire due to opinions of students were found with the help of MS Excel. According to result of the study, almost all of the students that was participate in the study stated that face to face education was incapable and they could not practice all of the course applications in course schedule. In general, study is considered constructive and its results will be helpful to instruct courses due to student-teacher opinions.
