The level of the distance education system at the primary education level in Iraq (Mosul city)

This research aims to identify the use of distance education operating in primary schools affiliated to the Iraqi Ministry of Education (private-state). In the implementation of the e-learning system, the analytical description questionnaire and the researcher questionnaire. This study strengthens important aims and principles to identify the problems of using internet applications in the field of distance education, which has a major role in providing important results that serve both researchers and educational institutions. Gender, institution, professional seniority, education level, branch and calculations and variance analysis were performed. T-test calculations and analysis of variance were performed to determine discrimination according to distance education knowledge. In the first chapter, everything related to distance education and the details of e-learning applications in the city of Mosul are described and some previous studies in this field are mentioned. The second part contains a description of the method used to collect data and a description of each step. In the third part, the data were entered into the statistical program and the results of the study were obtained. Afterwards, the results were discussed in the fourth chapter and the researcher made the necessary suggestions in the light of the findings. Although teachers' attitudes towards distance education were close to the average value, they were negative. It was found that there was no significant difference between gender, years of experience, education level and the attitude of the branch towards distance education. In addition, a significant difference was found between teachers' attitudes towards distance education and whether they work in public or private schools, with or without knowledge of distance education.
