Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between work-family enrichment, perception of supervisor support, self-esteem, emotional commitment and career satisfaction. In this context, the effect of self-esteem and perception of supervisor support on work-family enrichment was investigated firstly. In addition, whether work-family enrichment affects emotional commitment and career satisfaction was also evaluated. Whether the perception of work-family enrichment differs in terms of demographic variables such as gender, age, marital status, working time and title is also discussed within the scope of the study. The hypotheses developed in this context were tested with the data collected from the academic staff working at Çankırı Karatekin University. The data of the research were collected by the questionnaire method. In order to test the effects between the variables in the models of the study, t-test, one-way anova, linear and multiple regression analyzes were applied. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that self-esteem and perception of supervisor support had a significant and positive effect on work-family enrichment. It has also been proven that work-family enrichment has a positive effect on affective commitment and career satisfaction. In the study, it was determined that the perception of work-family enrichment did not differ according to the demographic variables.
