Abstract (EN)
Stress is a condition that affects an individual in a daily life and affects the employee and the workplace in business life. The performance which shows the potential of the individual and the result is a phenomenon that affects the employees and the workplace in business life. Stress and performance are interrelated, both because they are similar to the factors that determine them, and because they can influence the employee and the workplace positive or negative. Hospitals are also shown as the sectors where the work stress we face in business life is experienced intensively. The main theme of this work is the relationship between the stress of work and the performance of the employees in the hospital. The data in the study were collected by means of a literature survey and field research and by means of survey technique and in-depth interview method. General information about stress and work stress is given in the first part of the study. The performance issue is discussed in the second part. In the third part of the study work stress and performances of the hospital employees were analyzed by using statistical techniques and phenomenology. As a result of the field study; wage insufficiency, workload, long-term work, role conflict, high responsibility, time limitation and lack of equipment caused work stress in hospital employees. It was found that the work stress in the employees did not differ according to the demographic characteristics and that there was a negative relationship between the job stress and performance according to the statements of the employees.
