The aim of this study is to examine the effect of business intelligence systems use in enterprises on innovation management. For this purpose, it is aimed to examine the importance and effect of business intelligence systems in innovation management decisions in enterprises operating in the IT sector. While conducting the research, the phenomenology design was used. Data were collected through interview technical processes and analyzed with content analysis. The universe of the research consists of IT enterprises using business intelligence systems in Turkey, and the sample is Turkey-based IT enterprises using business intelligence systems registered in LinkedIn. Data were accessed by conducting interviews with 14 participants within the framework of the interview technique. Participants in the interviews; managers, business intelligence specialists, unit chiefs, project managers, business intelligence consultants. During the interviews, 9 open-ended questions were asked to collect the data, and 3 probe questions were used to support the questions. Participant interviews were conducted in a semi-structured online environment to collect data. As a result of the analysis of the data collected as a result of the interviews, five themes were obtained: "business intelligence", "information technologies", "innovation management", "business / management" and "development of the sector / suggestions". The categories and codes under the themes were revealed by analyzing the interviews. In the conclusion part of the study; It has been revealed that the importance of business intelligence systems in IT enterprises has increased, but the awareness of use has not yet developed enough. It has been mentioned that the visual differences in the report outputs of business intelligence tools vary according to the business sector and play an active role in the preference of business intelligence tools. The importance of innovation has emerged for IT businesses to survive competitively in their rapidly changing environments. It has been mentioned that the importance of using data in the steps of innovation need and decision-making is great, and it has been revealed that almost error-free decisions can be made for businesses with the accuracy of business intelligence reports. In this way, it has been revealed that businesses using business intelligence systems are more advantageous than other businesses.
