Abstract (TR)
Bu tez, İslam Devrimi öncesi ABD-İran ilişkilerini, kimlik-güvenlik dinamiklerine vurgu yaparak, bu dinamiklerin iki ülke arasındaki dış ilişkilere etkilerini incelemektedir. Buna ek olarak, Iran devletinin tehdit algılamalarına karşılık İran toplumunun güvenlik endişelerini tartışmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, ABD-İran ilişkilerinin, İran'ın 1979 İslam Devrimi öncesi iç ve dış dinamiklerini nasıl etkilediği sorusu da yanıtlanmaktadır.Anahtar kelimeler: Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, devrim, güvenlik, İran, kimlik, toplum
