Abstract (EN)
is comprised of three sections. The first chapter emphasizes the ideas of asylum and refugee, the merits of hosting refugees, and the consequences of refugees on the economy. In the second section, assessments were conducted of the provisions in classical fqih texts relating to asylum and refugees. The rights and responsibilities of refugees in Islamic law and international law are examined in the third chapter, followed by a comparison of the rights and responsibilities of refugees in Islamic law and international law. Following that, explanations about the integration of refugees into society in accordance with international law were provided. The following conclusion was reached as a result of our research: refugees and asylum seekers are a phenomena as old as humanity itself. The concept, on the other hand, only emerged in the last century. As a consequence, this notion has no explicit equivalent in Islamic law. It has various concepts derived from the Qur'an and Sunnah that are quite similar to refugee status. Refugee and immigration principles begin with the protection of life and property. According to this instituion, life and property should be guaranteed to everyone who needs protection and has been compelled to migrate, regardless of religion or race. Keywords: Refugee, War, Rights, Responsibility
