Hadith abuse in Islamic history

Our study, throughout the history of Islam, for the sake of sectarian bigotry, personal interest, the desire to get supporters and political interests. It has been prepared in order to show how individuals who wanted to benefit from the authority of the Prophet abuse religion in particular, and to reveal the activities carried out in this way. The phenomenon of abuse discussed in the study is not exclusive to a single perspective, but has been tried to be evaluated in a broad perspective by different disciplines. Our study has been prepared in two main parts. In the first part, under the title of Religious Abuse in the History of Islam, the causes and consequences of abuse are mentioned. The existence of causes and consequences of abuse confirms that abuse constitutes an undeniable ground in Islamic society. In the second part, nowadays existing hadith abuse is discussed and in the light of the principles of hadith science, the perpetrators of abuse, such as commentators, jurists, sufis, hadith scholars, preachers and social media users have been touched upon. The measures that can be taken against the activities of these groups that cause them to be mentioned as negative in Islamic theology are included. While making the evaluation, the chronology was respected and the historical process of the issue was examined until today. The projections of hadith abuse on society have been evaluated through technology and social media that affect today's people. The phenomenon of abuse, which resulted in both religious and social events, was examined in detail. As a result of our study, it has been determined that the abuse of hadith is at its peak, weak and fabricated narrations are transmitted without being evaluated for soundness, and these narrations come to the forefront more than authentic narrations.
