Abstract (EN)
n this study veiling in Islam, adhering to the approaches in the basic sources is discussed within the framework of Islamic law. The thesis consists of three chapters. In the first chapter the historical process in veiling is investigated. In the second chapter the concepts about veiling is discussed. In the topic of veiling in Islam, veiling in verses and hadiths, reasons of veiling, its provision, circumstance, authorization in veiling and forcible resemblance issues are discussed. In the third chapter veiling's wisdom, its relationship between chastity and incitement, veiling and ornaments relationship and hiding private parts topics are discussed. In the conclusion, the topics discussed in the thesis are briefly analyzed. Keywords Veiling, Private Parts, Ornaments, Chastity, Woman.
