Islamic economics development in the perspective of interest bearing bank in Turkey and its place in the banking system

The Islamic banking system, which emerged in the field of Islamic economics, tries to carry out its activities in a different structure from the deposit banks. The interest-free banks established due to the banning of interest in Islamic religion have undertaken the task of completing a missing piece rather than an alternative to the Turkish banking system. Participati on banking, which carries out its activities without interest, has multiple targets. These include creating a sound financial system, helping to achieve economic and social goals, increasing its share in the banking sector, developing new services in accordance with the social structure, and further improving social solidarity. The purpose of this study is to show the differences in the works of deposit and participation banks operating in the Turkish banking sector, to provide benefits especially for economic relations with the Middle Eastern countries, to provide information flow regarding the processes through which participation banking has passed, is trying to get out. When occurred in Turkey or exposed at different periods with crises examined the effects of the financial crisis thick that negative effects are clearly seen. The interest-free banks, which have managed to overcome these effects to a minimum, have succeeded in leaving the state at no cost with their internal dynamics. By taking into account these positive results, contribution to the financial system continued to move their banking activities by participation banks in Turkey, it has tried to put forward in this study.
