In research, literature review was made. Besides , the resources in the related publishing and social access network platforms were scanned. We can say that traditional sports-games in Turkish culture, whether on horseback or without a horse, have a deep-rooted past. Additionally, it can be said that the leading people of the time respect significiantly the mentioned sports and games. Moreover, we all know that the Huns are good at horse-riding and the Göktürks are very good tepük players. It can be stated that in the mounted javelin, which is one of the mentioned sports that represent Turkish customs and traditions, an athlete drawing near to the oppenent or pressuring him does not throw javelin at his opponent .. In addition to this, we can say that Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling in 2010, Traditional Turkish Archery in 2019 and Mangala game in 2020 are included in UNESCOS' "Intangible Cultural Heritage" list. It should not be forgotten that the mentioned sports-games, which have differences as application and naming, are important for Turkish youth to be commonly introduced and adopted to keep these cultural heritage alive.
