Abstract (EN)
Throughout the history of the Turkish nation, who founded the government has made important contributions to world civilization. In order to understand these contributions, political, social and cultural history created by the Turks must learn. Therefore; political, social and cultural history of the Turks formed the written sources seek to learn the history of Turks. Sources of history divided into three categories including written sources, oral sources and archaeological sources. Inscriptions, annuals, travels, geographical works and manuscripts drawn out over many years, creates the written sources. Sagus, kosuks, legends and proverbs are oral sources. A number of references as a result of archaeological excavations have uncovered all kinds of material goods. As a result of archaeological excavations have revealed the important cultural centers in illuminating the history of the Turks.
