According to İzmirli an Islamic theology which meets the need of the time and is eguivalent to the existing philosophy should be written. According to him unless making an innovation in the science of Islamic theology which is the main defender of Islam it gets difficult to extend Islam religion to the scientific environment. As a matter of fact by neglecting this in the last centuries, it causes the decrease in the authority power of Islam which is an inborn a rational religion. İt is to be understood from İzmirli?s effort to join the philosophy and Islamic theology that he believed Islamic theology coult not be made without philosophy. In his works of Islamic theology which he wrote in this purpose he 82 guote from the opinion of the westerner philosophers and accompanied the Islamic theolgy and positive ideas and methods of western philosophy.
