Determination the potential of recoverable materials from Isparta province municipal and commercial solid wastes

In this study, possibility of recovery method named "seperation at source point system" applied on the solid wastes proceeded from dwellings and firms in İsparta is evaluated. The approaches of people on this subject are determined by using questionnaire results. The study was carried out in two steps. First is the determination of percentages and amounts of recoverable wastes in the source, and second observation of public interest on the possible acts and precautions about this disposal system by a questionnaire. The results from these studies were evaluated and the benefits of "seperation at source point system" for İsparta were brought out.
