Abstract (EN)

This research Isparta in Turkey in terms of the different registered varieties of red lentils were carried out to determine the yield and yield components in the 2016-2017 growing season. For this purpose, the plant height, first pod linkage height, number of pods and grains in the plant, plant yield, biomass yield, unit area grain yield, harvest index, hundred grain weight, water intake capacity and grain protein ratio were investigated in 11 registered red lentil varieties. According to the variance analysis results, significant variations were observed among the varieties in all traits examined and these differences were found to be statistically significant. According to the results of the research, plant height 27.50-32.80 cm, first pod height 9.23-20.20 cm, number of pods per plant 30.13-50.73, number of seeds per plant 40.96-64.70, plant grain yield 0.49-2.07 g, biological yield 223.8- 506.9 kg / ha, grain yield per unit area of 66.0-195.8 kg / ha, harvest index 24.91-41.45%, one hundred grain weight 2.91-3.64 g, water intake capacity of 0.027-0.033 g / grain and protein content ranged between 27.68-32.27% . Among the varieties of red lentils used as materials, the farmer variety had the highest grain yield per unit area. Although the Caucasus variety ranks second; it is seen as a significant disadvantage that the first pod tie height of this variety is within the 12 cm limit recommended for machine harvesting. As a result, according to the data obtained, Isparta province and red lentil cultivation with similar ecological conditions can be done, In order to increase the grain and protein yield in red lentil cultivation, it was concluded that Farmer red lentil cultivar could be recommended in terms of investigated properties.
