Examination Of Muallim İsmail Hakkı Bey's Notation Book Registered With Number T6834 İn İstanbul Military Museum Library

Muallim İsmail Hakkı Bey has both served in the music educational institutions of his period and has been in archive studies and a note archive containing thousands of notes has reached the present day through him. With this research, it is aimed to review the content of a Notation Book registered with the T6834 number in the İstanbul Military Museum Library, which belongs to Muallim İsmail Hakkı Bey, and to be recorded in the music repertoire making evaluations about the notebook. In this context, all compositions in the notebook are compared with the note records in the repertoire, types, lyrics and composers, pages in the notebook, information about rhythm and maqams, whether they are present in the repertoire records, whether they have notes, If available, similar and different aspects, such as archive numbers, are described in detail in one section. Then, on the basis of the Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek System, compositions were transferred to today's notation system. The notebook contains compositions from centuries ago, the fact that the entire composers belongs to the sultans, and the emergence of the difference in the difference between the recordings in the Turkish music repertoire makes the notebook important for today. In this sense the notes of the compositions in the notebook were transferred to the present note system in accordance with the original, both the differences were specified and the presence of the compositions in the different variant was revealed. As a result of the comparison 44 compositions in the notebook; The notes of 9 compositions with a note in the notebook but whose notes could not be determined despite the fact that they were given information in the repertoire records was recorded in the music repertoire of today and presented to the attention of the researchers.
