The Poem Journal recorded in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Library no: k0446

The poems of many poets that are known or unknown are revealed thanks to the journals which have an important place in classical Turkish literature. The journals are composed of complex texts such as poem, prose or poet-prose, which are usually collected according to the taste of the author. The aim of this study is to examine the journal recorded Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ataturk Libary no: K0446 according to the systematic classification project of the journals. The text between sheets of 1b-98a writing in Arabic alphabet was translated into the Latin alphabet by transcription method. Generally, in the Journal, poems such as ghazal, qasida and verse are located. These poems are generally writed in mystical issues. In the journal, sheets of 45a, 45b, 46a are prose. In the part of prose, one text is giving some information about coffee. Another one is about explain to one of Haci Bektash Veli's poem. And the other is consist in Qur'ân verses. As a result it is identified 58 poets and 235 poems in journal. The most important result in our study is to introduce two poems not included in the printed diwan of Aşık Ömer to the literary world.
