The research of Istanbul city Bayrampaşa district Rumeli migrants folk culture

Rumelian immigrants have immigrated lots of times in history because of different political, social and economical reasons. They have spread over wide oreas, including our country. They have moved to lots of different cities in Turkey, especially to İstanbul. There are a lot of Rumelian immigrants in Bayrampaşa in İstanbul. With the immigration movements of Rumelian immigrants, there have been a mixed cultural structure in Bayrampaşa, as a result of cultural interchange. We searched about the immigration periods, folk-literature products, folk cuisine and the unwritten literature products of these population, who live in Bayrampaşa. We also searced the origins of their traditions and introduced them. Then we compared all of them to the similar ones.
