The relation between the management typed applied by the school managers and personal characteristies

In this thesis study; the relation between the schoool managers, working in primary schools and their personal characteristies has been examined.In the first part of the search, a theoretical frame has been done in relation with the concepts of management, education management and management types by starting out with these concepts, management behaviour theory and the quality of management types have been taken up.In the second part of the search, personality and personality theories have been pointed and the theoretical frame has been done in the determination of the personality.Research has been performed by using scanning model. In the search two questionnaires, Management Types and 16 PF Personality Inventory have been applied to 45 school managers. In the questionary of Management Types, are the questions asking personal information. In anolysing analyzing the collected datas, frequency (f), percentage (%), arithmetic average ( ), t-test an corelation technics have been used.At the end of the evolutions, it has been seen that the managemenr types applied by the school managers have been met by the row of supportive, preventive, corporative, aothorotive and uncontrolled management types. A definite difference between the management types and demographic characteries hasn?t been seen. It has been seen that, the school managers have mostly tense, dominant, social efficient, perfectionist, sensitive and self interrogative personal characteristies.Key Words: Management, Mamagement Type, School Manager, Personality, The Facts of Personality
