Abstract (EN)
Geotechnical and geological features of the formation which were excavated at Kadıköy Kartal tunnel route were examined. 2 EPB/TBM machines are used which can apply two different methods; the first one is earth pressure balance and the second one is full face tunnel boring system. During the excavation of tunnels, performance prediction and excavation parameters investigations are given. The completed tunnel excavation for construction of the progress of the final parameters were compared with research carried out during excavation. Samples taken at regular intervals along the tunnel route, rock samples were conducted on uniaxial compressive strength and soil samples test results, the machine thrust force, torque, penetration index values, the amount of progress, the number of rotation of the cutting head with a certain range of parameters investigated the effect of study and the machine records the progress of the excavation studied the relationships between the final parameters. In addition, some of the full-scale experiments examined the feasibility of the design parameters and performance predictions, inspections performed in, researched and interpreted relations with the progress of completed excavation.Electromechanical and civil works of İstanbul Kadıköy ? Kartal metro project continues. Excavation performance analysis of the project made during the excavation of two different performance prediction method is analyzed and compared with rates of progress of the excavation completed, Graphics drawn using data from the machine, The relationship between progression of the excavated material and the machine is shown.Keywords: Geotechnical studies, EPB / CPC (earth balance machine), the excavation parameters, thrust force, torque, penetration index, full-scale testing, performance analysis of the excavation.
