Abstract (EN)

Master Thesis, Departman of Turkish Language and Literatüre Supervisor: Doç. Dr. Yunus KAPLAN July 2019, 495 pages Mecmua (Journal) is derives from Arabic word Cem which is defined "collected, all things that are classified. Ottoman Turkish words like "cecâmî, mecma' câmi" are derivedfrom cem (collection)and in Ottoman Turkish vocabularies like "cüzdân, defter, ceride" are used as the meaning of mecmua (journal). Journals shows fertility with the help of their rich contents have an importance in Turkish literature. Most of these journals whose typesetter, arrangement date are unknown differ from their contents. The journals (Mecmualar) have importance because of their reflection age's poem understanding literal pleasure are also important sources for a literature research. The Works about these sources have much contributed our literature and they will continue to contribute. Journals (Mecmualar), enlighten our literatures dark period present known poet's unheard poems and reveal little known poet are rowadays anthology. Therefor the the poem journal registered in Istanbul Library numbered T 752 is aimed to introduce. Firstly, general information about journal (mecmua) in Turkish Literature was given, then this work's importance and its classification in our literature is mentioned. After that the journal's (mecmua's) which consist of 107 fails and 532 poems introdured transcripted text classification was done. Key words: Classical Turkish Literature, Poem, MESTAP.
