Abstract (EN)

Journals, which hold a significant place in classical Turkish literature, played a significant role in identifying and analyzing literary works. These journals were generally manuscripts that brought together poems by different poets and were edited according to the compiler's personal taste. While the compiler's identity and time of compilation are often unknown, these works are valuable because they reflect the literary taste of the period. Journals contain not only the poems of well-known poets but also the works of poets and their names not mentioned in biography books or literary histories. As such, they hold a significant place among the valuable sources of Turkish literary history, along with divans and biography books. This thesis examines the poems contained in pages 1-55 (1b-55a) of the manuscript Mecmû'a-i Nazîre, registered in the Istanbul University Rare Works Library with the inventory number TY03759 (NEKTY03759). Although the title of the journal appears as Mecmû'a-i Gazeliyyât, an examination of its content reveals that it contains numerous verses. Therefore, it was concluded that the work's title Mecmû'a-i Nezâ'ir would be more appropriate, and the title was changed accordingly. The study consists of an introduction and three main parts. The first section introduces the aforementioned journal, examining its content, physical characteristics, identifying the poets whose poems it contains, and identifying the centuries in which these poets lived. The second section organizes the poets and poems in the journal according to MESTAP (Mecmuas Systematic Classification Project) guidelines and presents them in a table. The third section provides the journal's transcription.
