Abstract (EN)

Organizations' needs of recruiting qualified human resources, is increasing in today's competitive environment. Companies, that desire to be superior then their competitors, intend to retain both qualified employees and attract talents to their organization. As a solution in this direction, the phenomenon of employer branding, which is defined as, the whole of psychological, economic and functional benefits, comes to the fore. If organizations successfully implement employer branding applications, it will also be possible to improve the perception of employees' person-organization fit. In accordance, this study focuses on the effect of employer branding on person-organization fit. Another aim of the study is to identify differences of participants' employer branding perceptions, according to demographic variables. The study was applied to a sample of 372 people working in five major pharmaceutical companies listed in ISO500. It is determined according to the research findings that, only interest value dimension of employer branding has a positive effect on person-organization fit. Moreover, when the differences of dimensions of employer branding is evaluated according to demographic variables, there exists no difference only for social value dimension of employer branding. It is found out that economic value dimension of employer branding differs according to gender, age and education; interest value and application value differs according to marital status; and development value differs according to gender.
