Özet (EN)
In this study, the NeQuick Model which is an ionospheric model was evaluated in terms of the stratospheric QBO. In this context, foF1 values obtained from Darwin and Learmonth stations set in the NeQuick model of the equatorial region were statistically evaluated. For the statistical model, the Multiple Regression Analysis Model was applied. During the assessment; the (∆NmF1) values obtained from the difference between the measured value of the electron density of F1 region and calculated value through the NeQuick Model and their relationship with QBO were correlated. This investigation has shown that the relationship at solar maximum case was stronger than the relationship at solar minimum case both in Darwin and in Learmonth stations. In solar minimum case, there were negative correlations between the QBO and ∆NmF1 at both stations. In Darwin station 67 % of ∆NmF1 changes in case of solar maximum, 35 % of ∆NmF1 changes in case of solar minimum could be attributed to the QBO. In Learmonth station 51 % of ∆NmF1 changes in case of solar maximum, 30 % of ∆NmF1 changes in case of solar minimum could be attributed to the QBO. The results showed that the addition of QBO to the NeQuick Model would allow making calculations closing to actual data especially in the equator region of this model.
