Abstract (EN)

This study, in which the local dialect of Bayındır district has been examined, is classified in three chapters as Language Analysis, Texts and Glossary, other than the Introduction. In the introduction, the subject, the purpose, the scope and the method of the research is explained besides historic and geographical information about Bayındır. The Language Analysis, which has been composed with the data obtained from the field study by visiting all villages in Bayındır, includes parts such as Phonology, Morphology, Syntax and Conclusion. The third chapter is the Glossary. In this chapter, the words that are both identified in texts and recorded out-of-text are given in exemplary sentences. Considering Leyla Karahan's classification of Anatolian dialects as Eastern Group, Northeastern Group and Western Group, the dialects of Bayındır need to be listed in the first subgroup of the Western Group dialects. The affixes for the Present Continuous in the local dialects are –(I)yo / – (I)yò, -(I)yI and –(I)yoru /-(I)yırı. These affixes have become effective in the determination of dialect areas and the dialects of the district have been divided into three areas.
