Basic principles of faith and worship in Japanese new religious movements

New religious movements are a definition used to express various religious groups that have emerged and spread in different parts of the world after the second half of the twentieth century and have now become a part of the world's belief map. In this sense, new religious movements attract the attention of researchers with their different beliefs and practices, as well as various rituals and celebrations. New religious movements, although it has gained the opportunity to spread in the West, there are also many groups of Far East origin. It is possible to evaluate new religious movements that emerged in Japan in this way. Although the Japanese new religious movements took some elements from traditional religions in the context of their belief and worship, they also developed their own religious motifs from time to time. In this study, the principles of belief such as god, holy book, salvation, eschatology, karma-reincarnation in the Japanese new religious movements and worship such as introduction to religion, yoga-meditation, pilgrimage, healing practices are discussed.
