Jean Baudrillard and hyperreality

Until the 19th century, science had an integrated structure under the roof of philosophy. However, after the 19th century the disintegration in the scientific world led to the dissolution of thought. In today's world, where it has become impossible to combine all the data and give it meaning, Baudrillard has succeeded in defining the hyperreal world with the simulation theory. Indeed, the impasse of the existing capitalist system with the 1929 world economic crisis was an important event that paved the way for hyperreality. Because, with this event, everything (traditions, beliefs, cultures, values, nature and even people) has turned into a commodity to consume when capitalism put the "consumption phenomenon without question" at the center of the system, which it saw as a way out of the dead end. What happened after that started to consist of fictions created to ensure the continuity of the system. Thanks to the mass media and the rhetoric used, this new world has caused the destruction of all reality with a very effective and transformative power. Indicators turned into a simulacrum, moving away from its object as a result of the system's desire for more profit. Thus, man, who succeeded to create a society by producing cultural codes in his thousands of years of memory, lost the indicator that he attributed meaning together. As a result, society lost its critical ability turned into a silent and indifferent mass. We are now in a hyperreal world where the boundary between fiction and reality has evaporated. This world is one that is constantly being constructed by information and mass media. This world is a simulation universe that turns people's desire for freedom into a paradox and captivates people. While the system transforms all kinds of values that prevents it into a commodity for its own continuity, people remain silent and even participate in everything that happens for their comfort and so-called freedom.
