Physical and psychological effects of sport massage on famale soccer players

The purpose of this study was to determine the physical and psychological effects of sporting massage on female soccer players. In the study, upper and lower limb anaerobic power, static right, left and bath foot balance, dynamic right and left foot balance, flexibility, 30 m sprint, and sportive motivation and state anxiety cases from psychological characteristics. The experimental group used in the study consists of a total of 19 athletes randomly selected from healthy volunteer women among the healthy female athletes who actively play football in various clubs between the ages of 18-25 in Gaziantep province. Measurements were made at the end of the 2015-2016 football season and during the days when the training sessions and competitions ended. Athletes were not given any training or diet program. The Motivation Scale in Sport and State Anxiety Inventory were used for psychological features. SPSS 22.00 computer program was used for statistical analysis. As a result of the study, it has been found that increasing the level of motivation towards life, which stimulates anaerobic power, balance, speed and flexibility values positively, psychologically stimulates life, and affects the state anxiety level positively by adding massage to pre-exercise warming programs. As a result, it is considered that the application of massage + warming to female footballers will contribute positively to physiological, physical and psychological performances compared to other applications and contribute to the work to be done in this field
