Expectations of women exposing to violence from their spouses, staying in guesthose of woman after divorce

Violence against women is as old as history of humanity. In the past, fact of violence against of women concealed in a family, non-sanctioned too much, even has been normalized by women acquiring a different dimension especially from the 1970s. In this period, many factors like women movements, developing level of women education, women starting to take part in social life, technological and democratic advancements have provided to improve society's and especially women's consciousness level. Violence against women is one of the important problems to day despite many positive developments on national and international scale. Women are the most important victims of family violence. The divorce is inevitable as a result of getting to an unsustainable point of the unity of marriage in terms of spousesor presence of violence against woman in families. The fact of divorce affects adversely all family members. Women face many of psychological ,social, economical problems in process of divorce and have to produce solutions to these problems. The aim of this research is to specify that how the women wholive at one of the four guesthouses for women in Ankara which are affiliated to the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services and have been exposed to the violence from their spouses, decided to divorce, the violence they have been subjected to and what their expectations are after the divorce. In this context, measurement tool developed by researcher has been filled with face-to-face interviews in institutions where I want to conduct a research, in between18.03.2019 - 21.05.2019 by researcher.
