Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of FIFA 11+ warm-up exercises applied to female volleyball players in the Turkish Women's 2nd League for 8 weeks on functional movement screening test results and serve speed. The traditional warm-up group (GIG) (n=11, age=20.27±1.55, height=1.75±0.09) and FIFA 11+ warm-up group (FIG) (n=11, age=20, .18±3.94, height=1.71±0.09) were included in the study a total of 22 licensed female volleyball players with a minimum training age of ±5 years participated voluntarily. Serve speeds were determined with a pocket radar ball coach speed gun (USA) brand speed measuring device. Before starting the study, experimental (FIFA 11+ warm-up group) and control (Traditional warm-up group) groups were determined by random method (on team basis) and measurements were started. The teams applied routine training programs 3 days a week for 8 weeks. FIFA 11+ warm-up group, which is the experimental group, performed their warm-up exercises with FIFA 11+ warm-up exercises at the beginning of their routine training 3 days a week. The traditional warm-up group, which is the control group, applied standard warm-up movements in their routine training 3 days a week. After the FIFA 11+ warm-up exercises, the experimental group also performs special warm-up exercises if necessary. Pre- and post-training data analyzes were analyzed with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. At the end of the study, while no significant difference could be detected in the pre-test and post-test results of the traditional warm-up group in terms of serving speed, significant differences were found between the pre-test and the post-test in favor of the post-test in the FHT scores, in line lunge movement and total scores. There was a significant difference in favor of the pre-test in the FIFA 11+ warm-up group serve speed pre-test and post-test results. In FHT scores, there were significant differences in favor of the posttest between the pretest and posttest in deep squat, in-line lunge, trunk stability push-up, rotary stability and total scores. In conclusion, as a result of this study, it can be said that the FIFA 11+ warm-up exercises that volleyball players will apply before the training will reduce the possibility of injury by improving their functional movement patterns as well as making the muscle groups.
