Demographic Information Form, Media Monitoring Habits Form, Ongoing Threat of Violence Form, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Fear and Control Emotion Scale, Spielberger's State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Hopelessness Helplessness and Misfortune Scale, and Beck Depression Scale were used to obtain the data of the study. As a result of this study, it was determined that the frequently following the news of violence against women increased the level of depression, misfortune, fear, trait and state anxiety in women.
