Abstract (EN)
Aim: The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence of sexual function disorders in women and the possible risk factors that affect the condition.Material and Method: The study was carried out 150 women of 18-43 years old who applied to health centres for family planning. The participants were first verbally enlightened about the issue and consented, and were requested to fill in a socio-demographic data form, a sexual background form prepared by the surveyors. Also, the sexual violence scale and the Golombok Rust Inventory of Sexual Satisfaction were applied.Findings: According to the total scores obtained from the Golombok Rust Inventory of Sexual Satisfaction, 57% of the cases were determined as having sexual function disorder. Conclusion:We believe that our study is important in that it reveals the high rate of sexual health problems, which is a part of the overall health, that there is a need for broader studies in various populations, and that it shows the need for a general policy in order to resolve the problem.Key words: Female, sexual dysfunction, prevalance, GRISS
