Evaluating of quality perceptions with metaphors

In today's competitive world, change and technology era, new perspectives and approaches is required. The effects of these changes occurring in the world also possible to see in our country. Under the leadership of the private sector is now beginning the concept of quality is reflected in the public sector. Employees' job satisfaction and psychology contribute to the success of the enterprise and provide quality performance. The main purpose of this study is to reveal of perceptions of the 112 emergency health care providers related to the concept of "quality system" through metaphor. This research was conducted in June-July 2019 with 121 people in various age ranges (female, male) randomly selected from Narlıdere 112 emergency service personnel in Ġzmir province. For the collection of data, personnel were asked to fill the gaps in the phrase of "quality system is like.......; because ...... In this study to answer the following questions were asked: What are the 112 emergency health care providers metaphors related to concept of "quality systems"? " these concepts, can be collected under which conceptual categories"? These conceptual categories were examined whether there was a ralationship between gender, age, education, working time. According to the findings of the study, participants produced 14 color metaphors. These metaphors are collected under six different conceptual categories in terms of common features.
