Mobbing against civil servants working at the public authorities and the solutions: The case of Tuzla district

Abstract (EN)

This research is to identify the level of mobbing of the civil servants working at the Public Authorities and the what kind of suggested solutions to take place against those behaviours.The sample model is made up of 100 civil servants consists of 53 female and 47 male civil servants selected randomly working at the public authorities.In this research, the links between the physiological abuse, offensive and mobbing behaviours against the civil servants and some variables such as sex, age, education background, professions, seniority have been examined. For this reason, questionnaire method has been used. The questionnaire consists of three stages. The questioners have been asked regarding demographic characteristics at the first stage, the level of emotional violence at the second stage and the questions regarding available solutions have been taken place at the last stage. The responses addressed to the questions at the second stage have been formed based on the five-point Likert Type Scale. The responses of the civil servants participated in the questionnaire have been analysed by processing the data in SPSS software programme.The T-Test, Analysis of Variances, Analysis of Factors, Reliability Test, Post-Hoc Test Methods, etc. have been used to analyse the data. The minimum significance value used in the analysis tests taken as p<0,05 (5%), the outcomes are interpreted according to this value. When the outcomes examined, it is discovered that the married females are most likely subject to mobbing and it is seen that the managers are the males.Advises have been given in line with the data and the outcomes of the research. The advises will help the ones who come under this situation in order to give guidance and the ones who want to make research.
