Abstract (EN)
In today's world, patient satisfaction is more important in healthcare facilities than in the past. Because, with increasing competition, health institutions are trying to reach more patients and to make patients choose the same health institution again when they need. It is important for the healthcare institutions what the patients' expectations are and how they will be met and how these requests are best answered in this increasingly competitive environment. While looking for answers to these questions, health institutions plan the services that can increase patient satisfaction. So, it is crucial for them to work on improving service offer and physical conditions. By means of these studies, the quality, efficiency, performance and profit rate of the health institution will increase. When we look from this aspect, it is seen that how the service quality and patient satisfaction is important for health institutions. Concepts such as health, health services, patient and patient satisfaction concept, the importance of patient satisfaction, factors affecting patient satisfaction, quality, service quality and health service quality are examined in this study. The main objective of the study is to determine the factors affecting patient satisfaction in terms of public and private health institutions. With this study, it is aimed to give a new point of view for the work to be done in the field. Data were collected from students and employees studying at Yeditepe University to achieve the goal of the study. Questionnaire technique was used as data collection method. The collected data were analyzed through the SPPS program. As a result of the research, statistically significant results of different demographic features were obtained, and evaluations were made.
