Abstract (EN)

In this study, people's blood glucose and HbA1c values are aimed to be determination of palm perspiration by using Radial Basis Function. Some changes about metabolizm alter the amount of perspiration in humans. Diabetes is also among the diseases which alter the amount of perspiration. In humans, only the perspiration glands which are beneath the feet and in the palms are controlled both by the nervous system and chemicals in blood as well. Therefore, the attributes that are obtained from the changes in the palm perspiration are used in this study. In addition to this attributes, parameters such as sex, age, weight, lenght, body mass index, blood pressure, pulse,atmosphere temperature and moisture were used as input variables.The data from subjects are grouped according to parameters of fasting blood glucose and HbA1c diagnostic values of laboratory test results. In this way, fasting blood glucose obatined four sets as 76,9-467 mg/dl, 76,9-300 mg/dl, 76,9-200 mg/dl, 76,9-150 mg/dl and studied at using 13 inputs, the results are %65,34, %70,51, %78,13, %83,32 respectively; studied at using 13 inputs, the results are %52,35, %69,27, %76,06, %82,91respectively. In this way, HbA1c obatined three sets as % 5,47-12,95, % 5,47-10, %5,47-7,5 and studied at using 13 inputs, the results are %80,93, %82,24, %92,63 respectively; studied at using 13 inputs, the results are %77,89, %84,08, %92,60 respectively.The study has been conducted in the scope of TUBITAK Project, No: 109E234: (Determination Of Glucose And Hba1c Values In Blood From Palm Perspiration By Using Radial Basis Function ).Keywords: Diabetes, Glucose, HbA1c, Palm Perspiration, Sweating Rate, Radial Basis Function.
