Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this thesis is to compare job satisfaction levels of The Army Aviation Pilots who work in some Turkish Armed Forces Headquarters and Associations and whose occupations are not related to flying, while it maintaining their pilot status with job satisfaction levels of the pilots who are in charge of just flying on their bases and it also aims to identify the differences between different individual and job related job satisfaction factors and job satisfaction levels between The Army Aviation Pilots, as well as the important results of these differences pertaining to Army Aviation Branch. This thesis aims to create a more comfortable, peaceful and much more productive working environment in terms of the differences of job satisfaction and dissatisfaction and proposes precautions for their solutions. By this way, the thesis also aims to make it possible for the pilots to work longer and more willingly in their works. This research is composed of four parts. In the first part; the description, historical improving, importance and theories and schools of job satisfaction, in the second part; behavior compounds, the factors leading to job satisfaction, in the third part; influence area of job satisfaction, job satisfaction scales and indexes, in the fourth part; the old variable related job satisfaction reviews have been explained and the job satisfaction differences have been compared by applying a survey to a part of the pilots and the results have been discussed by improving suggestions to the problems. Survey method has been carried out in this research that aims to compare job satisfaction levels among Army Aviation Pilots. The job satisfaction survey used in the research measures the pilots' self job satisfaction perceptions. In conclusion, it has been found that there is no significant difference between the perceptions of pilots working in headquarters and flight fleets in terms of job satisfaction, Management Style, Colleagues, Working Environment, Salary and Promotion Subgroups. However, it has been seen that there are differences in their job satisfaction levels between pilots working in headquarters and flight fleets with respect to specific duties in the subgroups of Organizing The Place Of Employment and Self- Improvement Opportunities.
