Karahisarî Ali Vasfi Baytâr-nâme (Review-text-dictionary-index)

The baytârnâmes, which deal with animal diseases and their treatments in general, deal with the diseases of horses and their treatments, and how horses should have characteristics. The work we are working on deals with the general characteristics, diseases and treatment methods of horses. Our text, is a language study consisting of four parts: analysis, text, index and facsimile. In the introduction part of our thesis, general information about bâytarnâme, general information about the text that is the subject of the thesis, and spelling features are examined. In the analysis part, the text was examined in terms of phonetics and morphology. In the text part of the work, there is a translation of the work into the transcription alphabet. Each leaf in the work, which consists of 67 leaves, consists of 11 lines. In the index section, all words and phrases in the transcription text are listed alphabetically. While creating the dictionary, the meanings of the words in the text were taken into account. At the end of the study, a facsimile of the entire text is included.
