This PhD thesis is dealing with the verification of Surat Al-Imran from Tafsir Al-Qarmani for the holy Qur'an. The virtuous scholar involved in this studya is a virtuous scholar of Qur'an interpretation in the time of the Ottoman Empire from the era of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. He is Ahmed bin Mahmoud Al-Qarmani (971/1564), nicknamed the AL Assam (the Deaf). He has a book on interpretation called: "Tafsir Al-Qarmani", which is still in manuscript in twelve volumes. Graduate students are working on investigating all of its volumes, some of which have been finished and some are still under investigation, being a valuable commentary in twelve volumes. This research contained two parts: The first part: the study section, in which I talked about the personality of Al-Qarmani, his name and nickname and aspects of his scientific and daily life. In this section, I also talked about his approach to interpreting Surat Al-Imran, by explaining many aspects related to the sciences of the Qur'an, such as: as the Meccan and the medinian, the reasons for the revelation, the abrogator and the abrogated, the arbitrator and the similar , the cut-off letters in the openings of the surahs,, the Quranic readings, the stopping and starting, besides the interpretation of by tradition in terms of interpreting the Qur'an with Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the sayings of the Companions and followersthe science of correlation, the Quranic aphorisms, the Quranic words and so on. This section also included many aspects related to linguistics and grammar, as well as rhetorical methods and secrets. Jurisprudential issues and verbal issues had an abundant share of this study section. At the end of this section, I referred to the sources on which he relied while interpreting the surah. As for the second section: it is the verified text, which included the verification of Surat Al-Imran from the interpretation of Al-Qarmani. This research concluded with some findings and recommendations.
