Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, Karl Raimund Popper's thoughts on knowledge are examined. In order to fulfill this aim, firstly, Popper's life and his intellectual growth are mentioned. Then, some dimensions/characteristics of Popper's view of knowledge are introduced & tried to be analyzed under the subtitles of fallibility of knowledge, non-authoritarian knowledge and relationship between critical attitude & knowledge. Furthermore, Popper's critical attitude to mainstream understandings concerning knowledge is mentioned and his criticisms against sociologism and psychologism are explained. Finally, Popper's genuine/distinctive and defensible view of knowledge on the possibility of rational and objective knowledge is presented.
