Özet (EN)
The importance of the human factor in the success of organizations has been taken more into consideration in recent years. It is suggested that increasing uncertainty both in and around the organizations requires employees to take more initiative and take roles outside their job descriptions. Whilst expectations for out-of-role behaviors increase, it is uncertain whether employees will receive an adequate response to their behavior or whether there is a specific response. For this reason, it is assumed that a higher or lower expectation of a certain response for employee benefits or voluntary behavior will affect organizational citizenship behavior. On the other hand, it is assumed that the employees' time perspectives (present and future time orientation) will moderate the mentioned effect by affecting both the norm of reciprocity and organizational citizenship behavior. This study will examine a moderating role of time orientation in the impact of reciprocity norm on organizational citizenship behavior.
