Abstract (EN)

Ancient Anatolian Turkish, playing an important role in the historical development of Turkish language, form the base of Western Turkish. The language used in this time period between XIII. and XV. centuries was a simple language easily understandable to the public. The main aim of the works of that time was to inform people. One of these works is a religious work called İrşadü?l Mürid İle?l-Murad Fi Tercemeti Mirsadi?l-İb?d written by Kasım bin Mahmud. This work whose meaning is the salvation of the disciple, as is understood from its name, mentions about what people should do in order to reach the salvation. In the work some stories was told and some parts was quoted from Koran so that it could be better understood. Things wanted to be told in the work were sometimes told by couplets. The work gives various information about the features of the language of the period in which it was written. The use of two different orthography systems can be considered to be the indicator that the language could not form a systematic structure, yet.We, before all else, tried to point out the transcribed text of the work in this study. Then we tried to show the phonetic and morphologic features of the work in minute detail. In the dictionary-index part we gave the meanings of the words in our writing and we added the data about in which pages these words were found.
