Abstract (EN)
In this study, the literary and sufi views of Kaygusuz Abdal, who is considered the founder of Bektashi literature, were examined within the framework of his poetic work named Gulistan. Kaygusuz Abdal's work named Gulistan, which contains chants specifically about wahdat al-wujud and divine love, was written between the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. In the work, difficult to understand sufi truths; It is expressed in old Anatolian Turkish, using a metaphorical style, sometimes a descriptive style, sometimes a didactic style. In the first part of our study, which consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion, titled "Kaygusuz Abdal's Gulistan and its Literary Analysis", the general characteristics of Gulistan, the literary arts and metaphors used in the work, and the names of places, nations and people mentioned in the work are included. In the second chapter titled "Sufi Content in Gulistan", the sufi content of the work was analyzed within the framework of the ontology and epistemology fields that form the basis of the history of thought. The sufi thoughts of Kaygusuz, a sufi who adheres to sharia and sunnah, overlap with the general understanding of sufism that has existed since the early sufis. Wahdat al-wujud, which became systematic with İbn Arabi (d. 638/1240), constitutes the main theme of his thought. Kaygusuz expresses these views using the metaphorical expression method.
